Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Monday - 2/1/2010

The WNW-NW swell fades out but there will still be enough energy to have some fun…just slower and smaller overall. We still have to push through the AM high tide but it will be back a bit further in the morning which will open a little more of a dawn patrol window, don’t expect it to last long though. Wave heights will be in the knee-waist high range with some waist-chest high+ sets at the standout spots.

Winds will be light ESE through the morning, and then light W around 10 knots for the afternoon…so it should stay fairly surfable throughout the day.
