Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - For Monday - 1/11/10

W-WNW swell hanging in there on Monday…maybe even improving a little on the shape as the swell period drops (and we get past the morning swamptide). Average spots will continue to hold around chest-head high while the standout breaks see some shoulder-overhead sets…and maybe a rare plus or two as you move further south in the County. Shape will be best at the points and reefs…expect pretty walled up shape at the beach breaks.

Winds look good with light offshore flow on tap for the morning…maybe even moderately offshore near some of the passes and canyons. Look for the winds to increase and shift a little more onshore through the afternoon before possibly laying down again near the sunset.
