Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Wednesday - 1/27/10

The WNW-NW energy will be fading slowly on Wednesday…not to mention the shape starts off a little slow early thanks to the higher tide. Look for average spots to hold around waist-chest high with some shoulder high sets once the tide drops. Standout WNW-NW spots, mostly in South County, will have some shoulder-head high peaks earlier in the day but it will get less consistent by the afternoon.
Light and variable winds on tap for the morning with a little bit of onshore bump here and there. Look for building W-NW winds around 10-15 knots for the afternoon.
