Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - For Tuesday - 1/05/10

SB looks like it will have a few fun ones tomorrow for the dawn patrol…the combo of new swell and the low AM tide will set up some rideable lines. It won’t be huge…lots of knee-waist high waves on tap for most of the points/reefs. A few of the better south/east county spots will be more in the waist-chest high range but I wouldn’t expect much more than that. Top spots will be the breaks that like the swell to be a little steeper WNW direction and like the medium/short-period energy that will be pushing through.
Winds look good…E-ENE around 10-15 knots with stronger gusts near the passes and canyons. Light/variable winds on tap through the afternoon.
