Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Wednesday - 2/3/2010

WNW-NW swell peaks on Wednesday…look for most average WNW facing spots see surf in the waist-chest high range with some of the better exposed breaks in S. County to see some shoulder and head high sets. Points and Reefs will likely have the best shape through the morning tide push…but a few of the more protected (and less tide sensitive) spots will be surfable for most of the day.
Winds will be light NW-NNW for the morning…mostly below 5 knots and even slightly offshore for some of the better positioned spots. WNW winds build up to the 10-15 knot range for the afternoon. Cloudy skies and a little drizzle are on tap for most of the day.
