Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Tuesday - 2/16/2010

The W-NW swell will be on the way down on Tuesday but it won’t be dropping off completely. Expect surf in the waist-chest high range for most spots with some sets still getting up around shoulder-head high at the best exposed breaks (mostly through South County). The surf looks fun through the morning tide push but may slow down quite a bit as the tide fills in…you may want to plan around that tide peak.
Winds look good…mostly light and variable to light offshore for the morning. NW winds around 10-14 knots move in through the afternoon.
