Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Wednesday - 3/17/2010

Look for really clean, nearly flat, leftover surf on Wednesday. Yeah there are 2 new swells in the water but neither of them will be able to push much (any) energy into SB. Most of our surf will be from leftover local windswell and with the winds going mostly offshore the weak swell will be dropping fast.
Expect most spots to see surf in the flat-ankle high range with a couple rare knee high sets. A few of the best NW exposed spots will be more in the ankle-knee high range with some inconsistent waist high+ range.
Winds and weather look pretty nice again on Wednesday. Mostly sunny skies with some light/variable to light offshore winds on tap for the morning. Variable onshore winds around the 10-14 knot range will develop through the afternoon.
