Santa Barbara Surf Forecast - for Friday - 3/19/2010

The WNW-NW energy backs off a touch on Friday but still manages to send some playful waves into the well exposed spots. Look for average breaks to hold around knee-waist high while the standout NW facing spots, mostly the beach breaks, see some chest high+ sets.
Look for light/variable to light offshore winds in the morning with some stronger gusts near passes and Canyons. Winds stay pretty light through the afternoon…expect variable onshore flow around 10 knots for most areas.
