Santa Barbara Surf Forecast – Friday – Building windswell and winds
The Swell
New WNW-NW windswell builds in on Friday as winds push onshore. Not much of a surf day for most areas…this forecast makes me sad.
Waves
Even with the windswell filling in a bit it doesn’t look like much surf on tap for Friday. The average spots will hold in the knee high range with some waist high sets at the top NW facing breaks. Expect weak windswell shape with bumpy conditions thanks to increasing winds.
Winds
NW winds around 10-15 knots for the morning build to 10-20 knots by midmorning and 15-20+ knots by the afternoon.
Santa Barbara Tides
